Q: I’m thinking about selling or trading in my car.  Is it worth me having some interior repairs done?

A: Most definitely.  Would you buy a car in a neglected condition if you could get the same car in great condition for a little more money?  Would you pay top money for a car that looks like it’s not been taken care of?  Probably not. By having your car cosmetically repaired would not only sell the car faster, but also you may even make more money on it.

Q: What about the color, can you match it?

A: Yes, at Southside Vinyl we are experts at blending and color matching.

Q: If I have a cigarette burn on my leather or cloth car seat, can it be fixed?

A: Burns, or scorch marks can be repaired in most cases.

Q: Will I see the repair?

A: By using the correct materials and our proven techniques Southside Vinyl can make damage seem to disappear. In some cases the damage will be invisible, other times (depending on severity) it may appear as a natural characteristic of the material.

Q: How long will the repair and/or re-coloring last?

A: Under normal use conditions the repaired area should last as long as the surrounding area does.

Q: I have holes in my dash from a hands free unit.  Can the holes be covered up?

A: Yes, with our expert skills we can make the repair virtually unnoticeable.

Q: I spilled bleach on the carpet in my truck.  Can the carpet be re-dyed?

A: In most cases yes.

Q: How often should I clean and condition my leather?

A: It varies depending on usage and how dirty it gets.  Normal conditions would indicate once a quarter would be adequate with a good leather cleaner and conditioner.

Q: Will you give me a free estimate?

A: We do give free estimates.  However, it is very difficult to give an accurate price without seeing the actual damage.  If you simply want an estimate, a good description of the damage you want repaired is needed.  Please keep in mind the price can vary.  Once you set an appointment and we see the damage, we will give you an actual price and what you can expect from the repair before we do the job.  We do give a discount if you have multiple repairs done at the same time.

Q: How can you save me money?

A: We can save you money because in most cases we repair rather than replace.  We only repair the damaged area and we blend the repair to the surrounding area.  Plus, Southside Vinyl is an independent business, not a franchise.  Our overheads are low, so the savings are passed onto you our customer.
